NoteResearch use only, not for human use.
-
Brief Descriptionα-Conotoxin MII is a highly potent and selective competitive antagonist for α3β2 subunit-containing nicotinic receptors.
-
Descriptionα-Conotoxin MII is a highly potent and selective competitive antagonist for α3β2 subunit-containing nicotinic receptors (IC50 = 0.5 - 3.5 nM at α3β2 expressed in Xenopus oocytes). Also potently blocks β3-containing neuronal nicotinic receptors. Displays > 200-fold selectivity for α3β2 over α2β2, α4β2 and α3β4.

2,3-Dihydrobenzofura...
2,3-Dihydrobenzofuran is an acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor isolated from leaves of L. camara.?Coumaran can be used as a biopesticide.?2,3-dihydrobenzofuran is a member of the class of 1-benzofurans that is the 2,3-dihydroderivative of benzofuran.?It has a role as a metabolite. The in vitro inhibition of acetylcholinesterase was increased with the concentration of Coumaran in the housefly (head and thorax) homogenate.
